Known as the Hollywood of the East because of the many films and TV shows filmed here, Wilmington, North Carolina is located on the Atlantic Coast, making this a great destination to head for warm weather and wonderful beaches in the summer. This ship was used during World War II and now is a war monument that visitors can explore. Whether visitors are looking for a sightseeing tour or just a romantic place to have dinner, the Henrietta III riverboat takes passengers down the Cape Fear River. Those looking for nightly entertainment will find three theaters in the area: Thalian Hall, Brown Coat Pub and Theatre, and City Stage Theatre.
